Brakes make smoke again
Engine 1 and Fitch-Rona 45 were paged this afternoon for a vehicle
on fire in a driveway. Car 1 responded to the scene also and was the
first unit on scene. Car 1 concluded that there was a fire and that
the fire was out but continued Engine 1 in to investigate.
Engine 1 crew checked out the vehicle and determined that the
smoke/fire was cause by the breaks locking up while the vehicle was
being driven. Minor damage was done to the vehicle.
