September 9th at 17:09 Verona Fire was paged for a structure fire in an attached garage in the City of Verona on Birch Court. Automatic Aid from Fitchburg and Oregon Fire were also dispatched. Verona Car 1arrived an established Command, Verona Engine 1 laid an attack line into the garage, and Fitchburg Engine 2 checked the interior for any fire extension. Verona Engine 2 and Squad 5 arrived and assisted with overhaul and venting the structure. Fire damage was contained to the garage, and the homeowners were not displaced.
