On October 19, 2012, Verona Fire took delivery of the first two of four 40 foot containers that have been modified by Double D Services, Inc. of Verona and delivered and set by Dish Auto also of Verona to be used as the first main floors of our new Training Center. Double D Services continues to work on the next two 40 footers and we hope to have them on site by mid-February. The Training Center is located behind the Verona Fire Station and all of the funds for this project have been donated. We are looking forward to the completion of the Training Center and to use it to train our Firefighters.
