Today two members of the City of Verona Fire Department were honored by the Verona Chapter of Quilts of Valor, for their service to our country. The quilts made by the foundation’s member volunteers, are awarded to U.S. military service members and veterans who have been touched by war. A Quilt of Valor is a lifetime award. Receiving them today were Firefighters Gordon Durand and Paul White. The Verona Fire Department would like to thank these gentlemen for serving our country.
